Passports must be valid for a minimum of six months after your last day of traveling abroad to re-enter the United States of America (USA). Now is an excellent time to check your passport expiration date. There is a wait time to renew or request a U. S. Passport. You can renew your passport online if it is 10 years or less. You must include the passport, updated photos, and payment with your renewal application. Remember the passport is the only official document that allows you to re-enter the USA.
